How does rapid antigen test work?
INDICAID labTM's COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Testing Service checks for the presence of antigens found in or on the SARS-CoV-2 virus to determine COVID-19 infection status. Using the INDICAID® COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Test kit, our testing service employs professional medical staff to collect test specimen, and can provide a test report in just under 30 minutes.
What type of specimen does rapid antigen test use?
We use anterior nasal swab specimens to perform our rapid antigen tests.
How to collect the specimen?

Can pregnant women, children and toddlers be tested?
Pregnant women can be tested, and it will not cause any harm to the pregnant woman's body, and the test results will not be affected during pregnancy.
INDICAID labTM employs professional medical staff to provide consultation and specimen collection services, and can provide testing services and reports for children aged 3 or under. However, eligibility for the test is subject to judgement of on-site medical staff on the day of testing.
Can I get tested if I am unwell?
INDICAID labTM's testing services are not intended for individuals who are suffering from a cold, experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, or other severe symptoms, including severe fever, constant chest pain or pressure, severe cough, severe shortness of breath, difficulty in breathing, constant light-headedness or serious disorientation. For those who are suffering from any of these symptoms, we recommend using the INDICAID® COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Test kit or seek medical advice from your healthcare provider.
Any precautions prior to the test?
Usage of nasal sprays should be avoided 10 hours prior to your test.
Who should not use nasal swab specimens for testing?
People who have undergone nasal cavity surgery are not suitable to get tested using nasal swab test specimens.

Is the test report government-recognized?

How to receive my rapid antigen test report?
A printed test report will be provided onsite within 30 minutes after specimen collection.
How is PCR test different from rapid antigen test?
PCR test reports can be used for wider applications and is suitable for entry into most countries. However, more time is required to issue a test report, usually within 24 hours after specimen collection (same day test report can be provided if express service is selected); rapid antigen test reports are only used for entry into selected countries, but less time is required to issue a test report, usually within 30 minutes.
How is rapid antigen test from INDICAID labTM different from self-test at home?
INDICAID labTM employs professional medical staff for its specimen collection and testing services, and can provide on-site test reports that are suitable for entry into different countries, hospital and elderly home visits, large-scale events, and certificate for work.

INDICAID® COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Test kits can be used for self-testing at home to determine COVID-19 infection status. However, test reports cannot be issued for home self-tests.
