- Have an immediate family member (parent, sibling or child) diagnosed with colorectal cancer at or before the age of 60
- Have more than one immediate family member diagnosed with colorectal cancer (regardless of the age at diagnosis).
Examination after disease or symptoms appear
Fecal Occult Blood Test (FOBT) should be performed in a timely manner to diagnose or rule out colorectal cancer as soon as possible if there are any intestinal symptoms such as chronic indigestion, black stools, or abdominal distension and cramps.

FAQs
所謂大便隱血，是指消化道有出血，但是因為出血量很少，我們無法通過肉眼從糞便中觀察到出血。 正常人不會出現大便隱血。 大便隱血陽性，需排除檢測前是否食用了大量的動物血製品或肝臟製品。
排便出血，常常血液會伴隨著糞便一同出現，非常顯眼，一般是肛門或者腸道末端出現了傷口或者炎症隱患，例如痔瘡。 但“大便隱血”則不同，簡單來說，就是糞便內部存在血液，這意味著在糞便形成之前，食物來到腸道時就已伴隨著出血的情況出現，更多代表從食道到腸道這段消化途徑中，可能存在一定的傷勢或者炎症。
出血是腸道疾病的常見/主要症狀。看不見的出血(隱血)的隱患更大，因肉眼不可見易被忽視，但隱血卻是腸道疾病需正視的「預警訊號」。
