4The Limit of Detection or LoD of a rapid test essentially refers to the smallest amount of virus the test can detect from a sample. A low LoD value means the rapid test can detect the virus in a given sample, even when the viral load is low. To put it more plainly, it means that the test can return a positive test result even when the patient is in an early stage of infection (when the viral load is low). Correctly identifying an infection early on is important, as it can allow early treatment, reduce complications, and reduce risk of transmitting the infection to others.

Instruction
- Collect anterior nasal swab specimen
- Stir the swab into the buffer solution by twisting the swab back and forth 20 times
- Drop 4 drops of the buffer solution into the COVID/FLU test device
- Read the results promptly in 15 minutes (results after 20 minutes should not be used)

- Immunocompromised people incl. children, elderly and chronically ill patients

People aged 2 or above are eligible for the INDICAID COVID/FLU test. Swabbing should be performed by an adult for children aged 2 to 13.
Co-infection with SARS-CoV-2, flu A&B is rare. If results are positive for more than one test lines, the sample should be retested a new COVID/FLU test kit. Report all results obtained from this test kit to your doctor.
